Meet Teacher Shannon — an accomplished vocalist, pianist, and music educator with a passion for helping students discover their full musical potential.
Shannon brings years of experience as both a performer and teacher, guiding students to grow as confident, well-rounded musicians. Her lessons combine strong technical foundations with musical expression, ear training, theory, and creativity. By tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals and abilities, she creates a supportive and motivating environment where students can truly thrive.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Voice from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from California State University, Fullerton. She has also continued her professional training through programs such as the McClosky Institute and Estill Voice Training.
An active performer, Shannon has appeared as a soprano soloist with the Pacific Symphony and has performed with organizations including Opera of the Foothills, Antelope Valley Symphony, Bakersfield Symphony, and Long Beach Opera. In addition to her private teaching, she currently serves on the faculty of the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA).
Whether working with beginners or experienced students, Shannon helps musicians build the skills, confidence, and artistry needed to enjoy music for a lifetime.
